Hello everyone,

It's been an age since I have last posted anything on deviantart. I have even let my subscription run out.

I'm sad to say I have not at all been well. I was in a very bad place, went to a slump and I started to question myself. But the good thing that came out of my musings was that it gave me time to think what I want with my life and how to go about getting it and getting back some inspiration and vision and most of all drive!

As some of you may know I have moved to the big city of London and I have been hear almost a year now!! Gosh, how time flies.. I din't have the net and a PC for 5 months so that added to my meltdown. I'm all settled now, My day job takes most of my time but I'm just about managing some time for my art, the BF and other social things. I even managed to attend the London expo this year and met some amazing pros.

Anyhoo,

I'd like to thank everyone who continued to watch and fave my work. you guys are the best!

In The Works:

1. A lot of you might remember my Hybrid Fusions- the first was [link]
the others are still in the works but took a back seat as I lost quite a bit of work when my old PC died still trying to find a way to recover them.

2. I have been sketching a few comic book heroes lately and once I have finished painting them it will be posted.

3. I have a new upcoming project that is now in the works as well as a possible graphic novel (still early scripting/ story rough stage) you will learn more in the next months.

I have also joined the Imagine FX community as Lady-N. you might see some deviations from my contest/ challenge entries from IFX forums.

Hello all,

first of all I am so terribly sorry for not repliying to messages and posts.. Thanks for all you gys who fav my work and your nice comments.

The reason I have not been posting is that I don't have a net connection in my new place. As some of you already know I have moved to the big city and I have only managed to move the most crucial of my things, i.e. MY PC portfolio, some clothes and food. I haven't got a TV yet as as i dint not think it necessary as I got my PC for watching my films and music.. but now my PC broke, so I'm like without food and water, No net, no music or films!! Its ok though. this weekend I am going back to my folks to get the rest of my stuff so hopefully I'll get my TV and PS2!! I'm working on getting my PC fixed ASAP so I can arrange to get an internet connection set up. I'm in dire need of this as I have a commission to finish and I have been drawing lost as a result of no TV and I need to render them soon.. so many great IFX challenges and frustrating not being able to have entered!!

Anyway, thanks again for the messages and favs!! hopefully you will see more work from me soon!!

I think you guys must have realised I'm not much of a blogger.

So This is the first Journal Post I've done for 2008!! yep.. partly cos I'm a lazy blogger and also there was not much interesting news to say until now...

~NEWS~

As some of you probably already know. After Graduating last year. I started working for a small production company for television as a production assistant a.k.a. runner. I started on January and now sadly I'm almost at an end with my contract. So I did a few design work but not much.. some mood boards, a little concept work which both projects still waiting to be commissioned. Mostly I have worked on the office. copying and printing scripts, phone answering etc.

But the biggest Highlight is definitely on Thursday 26th of June. My visit at the Shepperton Studios!!
I visited the set of a new comedy sitcom for BBC2 (UK channel) called "The Beautiful People" written by Jonathan Harvey. I got to meet some of the starts and the director and set designers which was so interesting and an amazing experience. After my very encouraging talk with the Art production department I have been encourage to go around the studios and see what other films and shows are being made right now and to my luck the next studio was shooting the last bits of HARRY POTTER : The Half Blood Prince!!!! I got to see the enormous model of Hogwarts as they dust snow on it. I was lucky enough to get an audience with the Art Director and he had a peek of a small version of my portfolio then proceed on taking my card!!

I guess this is a lesson that hard work does pay in the end.. there were times at the production office I felt like giving up. the pay was low, I wasn't doing what I wanted to do but I stuck by it and I know I've got a long way to go but I know I will get there.

On another note,
I managed to sell a canvas print of the 1st of my Hybrid Fusion series "Butterfly". I'm currently working on the next installment. I'm also opening up an ebay store to sell more prints if anyone is interested but more on that on a later date once I have set everything up.

I'm in the process of moving into the big city of London!! yep. I have 2 job interviews tomorrow so peoples, wish me luck!!

Hey guys!!
OMG its been so long since I updated.

just to let you all know, I'm still alive n breathing... just been so busy with my last year at university and then finally graduating July of this year... Now Looking for a job which is proving to be more difficult than it seems but I'm getting there.

Man I can't believe how quickly time has gone.. its Christmas soon!!

Anyhoo, as u can see I'm starting to update again n I will be opening up for commissions sometime very soon.. I know i have said that last time but this time I'm really doing it. I am just getting a few personal projects out of the way, work out the pricing .. and make a portfolio of samples.. and then all the details will be posted up on here.

so for all you dedicated watchers..
